A Cottage Day, but Make It Fashion

A Cottage Day, but Make It Fashion

Today’s outfit was built on comfort, practicality, and a whisper of romantic rebellion. I started with the same ribbon in my hair as yesterday—because sometimes reusing a good thing is its own kind of charm. It’s that little detail that makes you feel put-together even if the rest of the look is leaning into the undone.

I threw on a pair of oversized overalls that feel like armor and ease all at once. Beneath them, a white off-the-shoulder top from Free People—soft, billowy, and a little flirty. It’s the kind of shirt that lets your collarbone do all the talking. Functional, but romantic. Exactly how I like my mornings.

It’s 80 degrees outside, so I walked the dog early, coffee in hand, ribbon trailing in the breeze. I cleaned the house, did a little reading, flipped through the daily text—small rituals that make everything feel slower in the best way.

And on my feet? The same rubber boots I wore yesterday. The Kate Moss-at-Glastonbury ones. Slightly scuffed, ready for mud, and giving that iconic off-duty model vibe in the most casual way. They ground the softness of the look, making it feel lived-in and real.

There’s something quietly perfect about this kind of day. An easy outfit. A touch of nostalgia. Practical boots for the metaphorical (or literal) mud. It’s a cottage daydream—no frills, just feeling good.
